Weekly Tummy Pic...

Well I am a couple days late on this post I am currently 25w1d! yay. :) I know I prob say this every week but time is flying by! Icant wait for this little girl to be here already!

Other than that there isn't really much to talk about... Nothing has really happened... Other than my baby girls kicks are getting stronger and stronger everyday! I love it! It couldn't make me an happier.

Oh I did go to the maternity store because I had 30 dollars in bump bucks and I got another pair of pants and a couple shirts. The beginning total was 109 dollars and after all the sales and 30 dollars off I ended up spending 50 bucks... Pretty happy with that! <3

My mom sent us three boxes of stuff for Brooklynn on Saturday! I cant wait to get them and see what we can add to her collection lol... She has been so helpful during this entire pregnancy and I couldn't thank her enough!

Well thats pretty much it for now... Here are some statistics on Brooklynn... as of today...

176 days new
62.9% through this pregnancy
87.6% through the second trimester
104 days remain until due date. (almost down to double digits)
13 days until my third trimester!

Dr. Appt...

Well I had my monthly check up yesterday... Everything went great! baby girls heart was beating at 140 bpm. That is the slowest it has ever been... She was sleeping at that time and doc said as they get bigger it slows down some too... I love hearing her little heart. It truly is music to my ears. Oh and the embarrassing part.. total weight gain for this pregnancy so far... 14 POUNDS! ugh! Doctor said that I am doing great and that's right where I should be... She said our goal is to be 25-30. Closer to 25lbs... So hopefully that is where I will end up... ;)

So I got my flu shot yesterday... My arm is soo sore from it! My whole body was aching yesterday.. almost felt like I got hit by a truck... I could not sleep at all last night it was terrible! But I am feeling better today... thank god! My next appt is October 16th. I have to take that dreaded glucose test right before my apointment, then go back in an hour and get my blood drawn yay. And then after that appointment I will start seeing my doctor every two weeks! Crazy to think that I am already to that point... time has gone by so fast during this pregnancy....

I will probably schedule my ultrasound around 32 weeks to see if my placenta has moved at all... If it hasnt by that point I will have another ultrasound done at 36 weeks. If it still hasn't moved by that point then I will have to have a c-section :( fingers crossed that we do not have to do that! I think that will add some stress for Bart and I. He told me the other night out of no where.. "babe I hope you dont have to have a c-section." made me feel good that he thinks about that stuff too.. It has been on my mind since our anatomy scan...

I have been so occupied with this pregnancy that I haven't even thought about my birthday that is next month. Crazy to think that I am going to be 24... geez I feel old lol... We are going to do an elective ultrasound on the 19th, the day before my birthday... getting to see my baby girl is the perfect birthday gift! I think I will be pampering myself to a mani, pedi and prenatal massage too :)

Oh and I talked to my photographer and we will probably be doing our maternity pictures some time in November. I am thinking mid to late November... I want to be big but not too big :)

Gender Reveal...

Well this is short and sweet... All pictures! We finally got our images and prints from our gender reveal. I have 4 canvas prints I need to hang up. I will post pics when I get around to that :) I cant wait for our baby girl to be here! <3 

Weekly Tummy Pic...

23w6d...<3 Loving my baby girl and my bump!

Everyday I feel my baby girl moving more and more! She already has Bart and I laughing at her almost everyday. Last night we were watching football on the couch and she was kicking so Bart put his hand on my belly... And for some reason she stopped... So Bart poked her and said Brooklynn. Almost instantly she kicked back... then she did a really weird movement... more like a squiggle I guess... All I know is Bart and I looked at each other and just started laughing. This pregnancy has be an absolutely amazing experience! Bart has played a very important role in making this as enjoyable as possible.

I have been feeling great lately! The only issue is that same one that I have been having for awhile now... Feet swelling... I have been craving things sweet lately... Which is not a good thing... I need to keep control and keep my weight gain to a minimum... I am hoping to gain only 10-15 more pounds during this pregnancy... I have gained 10lbs so far... and I am 24 weeks... So hopefully I stay on track with a total weight gain of 25lbs... Hopefully nothing above 30lbs.. That would be depressing lol...

Well my next appointment is on Thursday in the morning. I am not to sure of the time. I will have to look that up. I know I am the first appointment for the day... I have a few questions for my doctor at this next appointment. just some random things...

Well some exciting things have happened this past week. We got Brooklynn's crib and dresser delivered and we got some more clothes delivered :) I cant wait for our little girl to be here! I am getting so excited! We have all of the big furniture out of the way which is a big relief! We still need to get her mattress, crib bedding, breast pump, and monitor... Those are the big but smaller things we still need... :)

The boxes that these came in were HUGE!!! And extremely heavy! Solid maple wood and made in the USA.. :) 

I made these letters for her nursery.. well painted them, added the ribbon and rhinestones. 

Still need to get her lamp vaporizer and changing pad :) soon that will be pretty cluttered lol. Balloons are from our gender reveal... will put those in the baby book once I get it started. I am slacking in that department. 

The stripe is green... looks a little yellow on the right... But its green all the way around :) 

Nursery isn't done yet... still need to put up more stuff on the walls :)

Statistics on my pregnancy so far...

Brooklynn is 167 days new
I am 59.6% through my pregnancy (16 more weeks)
79.0% through second trimester
113 days until Brooklynn is due (Jan 9th)
22 days until my third trimester (Oct 10th)

Side note I think I start my 6th month tomorrow.. But the whole month and week thing throws me off... It doesn't make sense to me... lol... I just go my what the app on my phone says... it says right now I am 5 and 3/4months pregnant... so when I hit 24 weeks tomorrow, it will say that I am 6 months pregnant...

I should stop blogging now and start studying for my microbiology test that is in 3 hours lol... Have to do good in school and nursing program for my baby girl.. So I can give her everything that she wants and deserves! <3

Weekly Tummy Pic...

Okay so I am a day late :/ oops.... yesterday was a busy day... I didnt even have time to take my tummy picture... oh well.. :) I took one thins morning... I am also going to start doing a frontal picture since there is definitely a difference in the way my stomach looks from the front now...

So this is me and our princess at 24 weeks :) 

Okay so this is almost too embarrassing to post! I'm huge!! Dont get me wrong I LOVE my baby bump and I love seeign my little girl grow but I miss my figure!  

Hmm... I think its time to hit the gym a little more! lol












Well Right now I am working on miss Brooklynn's letter to hang up in her nursery... I finished putting all the rhinestones on last night... I guess I choose to do that rather than blog :) Today I will be working on getting the ribbon attached to the letters... I probably wont hang them until her crib comes in... Which if it is delivered on time it should be here in 12 days!!! So excited... :) Everything is starting to come together and I couldn't be nay happier!! <3 our next OB appointment is in 8 days.. Yay I love listening to my baby girls heart beating... And either at that appointment or the next I will be scheduling my ultrasound to see if I have to have a C-Section... Totally nervous for that ultrasound... excited to see my baby but soooo extremely nervous!

Well a little on how I have been feeling... Overall I have been feeling great... My feet are continuing to swell which isn't my favorite thing... But I can deal with it... Last night my feet got extremely swollen!!! Maybe it was because I was sitting for a long period of time... When I went to bed I made sure to keep my legs elevated that way gravity would kick in and some of that fluid would move away from my feet/ankles... well I def had cankles last night... this morning when I woke up the swelling had gone down a lot so the elevation helped :)

I did have a little bit of a scare the other night... It was Monday night... I woke up in the middle of the night... I was actually in the middle of a dream too... I had severe cramping!! Like really bad menstrual cramps... So I went to the bathroom to make sure there wasn't any fluid or blood. Which there wasn't thank god! But I could not get over how bad the cramping was... I started to get really anxious. So I went back to bed curled up on my side and tried to go back to sleep... I was trying to stay as calm as possible... the cramping started back up again a few minutes later... and then I just kind of forced myself to go to sleep... Then when Bart woke me up to say goodbye to us that morning the cramping started back up... At that point I was ready to call my doctor or go to the hospital... So I rolled on my side getting ready to call Bart and then the doctor and Brooklynn gave me a huge kick... It was so hard... The hardest I have felt so far... then she kept kicking and punching... all over my belly... as soon as she started moving and kicking the cramping stopped... I haven;t felt any cramping since... So I have no idea what that night was all about and where all that cramping came from... I plan on talking to my doctor about it at my next appointment. See what she says/thinks.

Oh and some more of Brooklynn's clothes should be delivered today! :) I cant wait to get them in the mail!

Milestone... Kinda

Okay so this is going to be short and sweet ! :)

I consider this a milestone because I have been trying to get this moment ever since I could see Brooklynn kicking from the outside! I FINALLY caught her kicking on film! :) <3

Every time I would pull out my camera to record her movements she would stop! Sneaky little girl! :) This morning when I woke up she was moving like crazy! Which is unusual for her at that time (8:00am) she is usually still sleeping... But not today! So I waited to see if she was just turning and going to go back to bed... but nope she kept on moving and kicking.. And I knew today was the day that I was going to catch her in the act :) She kicks on the right side of my stomach.... So happy I was able to get this on my camera! I was so excited to be able to send it to my dad and put it on here for my family and friends to see....

Side note... Bart and I are going to have a little date night tonight and go see a movie :) Yay! That's always fun... lets see how long I can hold my bladder ;)

Weekly Tummy Pic...

 Okay so I am 21w6d!







Baby girl is moving/kicking up a storm in my belly! I love being able to feel our princess all day long! It is absolutely the most amazing feeling in the whole world. It doesn't matter what I am doing or whatever mood I am in when I feel that little girl I instantly smile! :) So in love with her it is crazy!!!!

Well I guess some stuff has happened since last week :) We have painted Brooklynn's Room!!! I dont think I am going to post pictures until we have it all ready... Which should be about four weeks... Dad has ordered her crib and dresser! We absolutely love it! But it will take about four weeks for it to get delivered to our store... I couldn't be anymore grateful for everything that my parents have done for our baby girl! :)

Well... we got the first order of bows in for Brooklynn!!! All I can say is that I absolutely love them! And I love the lady that made them for us! She also made us this thing that hangs in her closet to put all of her bows in (no charge which is always nice). She is so kind and crafty! :) I have her working on a little something for our maternity pictures too! I cant wait to see how it turns out! <3

 Also with this past weekend being labor day I figured there were some good sales going on.... Boy was I right! I went to the mall and got Brooklynn a ton of clothes for the spring and summer time! :) We were able to get her a few dresses that were usually 30-35 dollars for 10 bucks! It was awesome! also got her tank tops for 1-2 dollars! Boy do I love sales... Then my mom calls me and tells me that Carters has a sale for 50% of... So she clearly took advantage of that! :) She got Brooklynn a ton of things! I cant wait for those to be delivered! <3

 Well on to how I have been feeling... I have been feeling great! <3 no complaints... Feet still swelling but I can deal with that. :) My feet have been hurting so bad lately when I get off work... so Bart went and bought me a new pair of Nike for work :) such a sweetheart! <3
